well.. its finally here. my trip to europe.. northern england to be more specific. i've been looking forward to this trip all year. i'll of course be meeting with my dear friends and

geek has already been at woofenbarken's for several days now.. they've managed to have themselves thrown out of at least one castle.

i need to get there quick and keep them out of trouble

its going to be a long journey for me to get there... i will be at the airport by 2:45pm tomorrow and wont actually arrive in my final destination until 9:10am on sunday.

i've filled my ipod, cleaned my sensors, charged my batteries, packed everything from shorts to sweaters. i think i've done just about everything i need to so that my holiday will be enjoyable.

the kids started school here and although my rehearsals have begun.. my actual concert schedule doesn't start until oct 21... so this is an ideal time for me to sneak away for a week.

i had so many little trips in the summer it was great.. now i have a huge crop of images to sort thru and decide what stays and what can go. its my goal to get rid of all the images i don't need or want and to keep myself organized.

as soon as i return from england.. i have a few portrait sessions. a friend of mine who knows much more about lighting that i do has offered to spend a saturday with me shooting portraits and helping me hands on with my own studio set up. its always great to have someone show their tricks and secrets
